The results are in and the top tag team in the professional wrestling game in 2022 as determined by Pro Wrestling Illustrated is…
Pro Wrestling Illustrated has spoken and released it’s list of the top 100 tag teams in professional wrestling in 2022.
With a consideration period extending from October 1, 2021 and September 30, 2022, teams are evaluated based on a number of criteria including in-ring achievement and influence on the sport.
WWE’s Undisputed Tag Team Champions the Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) are the number on tag team in professional wrestling in 2022 as voted on by PWI.
With a historic Undisputed championship reign and factoring heavily into arguably the hottest storyline in all of professional wrestling (alongside Roman Reigns and Honorary Uce, Sami Zayn in the Bloodline) as well as extensive appearances, the honor is certainly well deserved.
With the discourse surrounding the selection already kicking off with some fans feeling that after the smashing year that FTR have had, holding multiple Tag Team Championship titles across promotions was worthy of the honor, there is always a lively debate to be had when rankings are released.
What do you think of the Usos as the number one tag team of 2022? Let us know in the comments.
