AEW
Tonight’s (July 6) edition of AEW Dynamite, saw the Butcher and the Blade take on the sometimes friendly, sometimes not so friendly tag-team of Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland, Swerve in Our Glory.
Swerve in Our Glory was able to pick up the win after a hard fought brawl with the monsters, The Butcher and The Blade.
The celebration was short lived as they were interrupted by Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks who quite literally referred to them as “trick ass b***h.”
This then summoned the Young Bucks who noted there was no disrespect, both of the teams in front of them were very good… but not good enough to beat the Jurassic Express like they did.
The Bucks then challenged the teams to go “triple or nothing” announcing a three-way tag-team title match.
Of note, the crowd went nuts and started chanting “FTR” to which the Bucks borrowed a line from one still persona non grata, MJF saying, “C’mon, we’re better than them and you know it.”
Elsewhere on the show, Jon Moxley faced Brody King for the Interim AEW World Championship, Scorpio Sky defended his TNT Championship against Wardlow and ThunderStorm, a tag team comprised of Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm debuted, taking on Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir.
