A short-lived but popular AEW tag team have officially parted ways on tonight’s (November 9) AEW Dynamite.
For the past few weeks, AEW TNT Champion Wardlow and ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe have formed a powerful alliance, dubbed ‘WarJoe’.
WarJoe had laid waste to any duo that dared step to them on recent episodes of AEW Rampage, including the Gates of Agony.
Powerhouse Hobbs had been laying out Wardlow in recent weeks, and he again took his targets at the War Dog on tonight’s show.
On tonight’s show, Wardlow laid waste to Ari Daivari of the Trustbusters in a short match before he and Joe called out Hobbs.
Hobbs began making his way out before Joe laid out Wardlow with his Television championship, choking him out with the Coquina Clutch.
This seems to hint that the three men will collide at AEW Full Gear next weekend, for one or both belts.
