Tampa City officials are set to meet today to decide whether major events in the city will take place as planned following the Coronavirus pandemic. One of the events that their verdict could impact is WrestleMania 36.
The show of shows this year is set to take place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, but some have speculated that WWE and Tampa may come to the decision to either cancel or postpone WrestleMania.
Many people expected WWE to announce today that the show will not go ahead on April 5. However, it appears that Mayor Castor of Tampa is reluctant to make an immediate decision on the matter. Per FOX News, she has said that “immediate action” is not needed for shows that are set to take place “weeks down the road”.
