A vicious scene on AEW Dynamite tonight during a promo segment with Eddie Kingston in the ring, but others backstage lying in wait.
Tonight’s (July 6) edition of AEW Dynamite, saw an unholy alliance of violence formed between Tay Conti and Chris Jericho as a segment with Eddie Kingston was interrupted by the ‘Wizard’ who was in the backstage area.
After Jericho called Kingston’s attention to the screens, it was revealed that Tay Conti had ensnared Ruby Soho in a dastardly white SUV’s door and proceeded to violently close the door, smashing Soho in the process.
While Kingston initially was in the ring to discuss his victory at Blood & Guts, he also took a moment to congratulate Wardlow on his TNT Championship win.
Elsewhere on the show, Jon Moxley faced Brody King for the Interim AEW World Championship, Scorpio Sky defended his TNT Championship against Wardlow and ThunderStorm, a tag team comprised of Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm debuted, taking on Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir.
