Taz Announces Team Taz Is Over On AEW Dynamite AEW

It is the end of an era as announced on tonight’s AEW Dynamite as a fan favorite faction has completely dismantled, for good!

On tonight’s (August 3) edition of AEW Dynamite, on commentary Taz took the opportunity to announce to fans (otherwise known as the AEW Galaxy if you are a fan of the Jericho Appreciation Society!) that Team Taz was no more.

Making the emphatic announcement in a style that truly only Taz could, he announced that Team Taz was done. Over. Finito.

After the show, Taz went on to write on Twitter:

“Thank you to all of you who supported Team Taz throughout our journey as a cohesive unit. Had to give closure for the AEW audience. All 3 men were informed this was going to happen tonight. I truly feel, HOOK, Hobbs & Starks will all flourish in their own way going forward. FTW.

Last thing I’d like to say is, we have had a lot of ups & downs with our group but in my opinion we had more good times than bad! It really was a lot of fun and I want to give a huge THANK YOU to the guys…. @730hook @starkmanjones @TrueWillieHobbs @briancagegmsi”

What’s next for former Team Taz member Brian Cage remains unknown after the faction he was rolling with, Tully Blanchard Enterprises was acquired by Prince Nana’s The Embassy in storyline at Ring Of Honor, Death Before Dishonor.

Elsewhere on the show, Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho confirmed their battle at Quake By The Lake after Wheeler Yuta tapped out to Jericho’s Liontamer, a shocking betrayal and an update on the little boy shown sobbing during that aforementioned betrayal and Max Caster finally got his chance to comment on Vince McMahon.
