Hook made his AEW in-ring debut on last night’s (December 10) episode of AEW Rampage, with a victory over Fuego Del Sol.
Hook, AEW’s cult hero, is the son of AEW announcer and ECW legend Taz, who was at the booth for the show last night calling his son’s first televised wrestling match.
Taz took to Twitter earlier today, to thank fans for the kind words regarding Hook’s impressive debut. He tweeted:
“Folks, I really need to say THANK YOU to all of you for the tons of tweets toward me about the kind words about @730hook
– it’s just too many to reply to lol!! And yes, it was SO special for me to call his first worldwide TV match. •Tazmission is now – “REDRUM””
The fans weren’t the only ones thrilled with Hook’s debut, as members of the AEW roster were reportedly ‘ecstatic’ following the match.
