WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase and his sons, Ted DiBiase Jr and Brett DiBiase, have been ordered to repay millions of dollars of ‘misspent or improperly dispersed’ welfare money.
According to Mississippi Today, a federal audit has been completed, and Ted DiBiase Sr has been ordered to pay back $722,299 that the non-profit Heart of David Ministries previously received. Ted DiBiase Jr has been ordered to return $3.9 million, and Brett DiBiase must pay back a sum of $225,950, as per the report.
The DiBiases weren’t the only individuals served demands. State Auditor Shad White’s office has served demands for more than $77 million in total for “illegal TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) spending”.
Brett DiBiase was previously one of two people to plead guilty within the alleged welfare scheme.
