After the news emerged earlier today, former WWE star Tegan Nox has commented on being released by the company.
It came out today that Nox and Indi Hartwell were both released by WWE, while Baron Corbin was informed his contract, which is expiring soon, won’t be renewed.
In the wake of the news, Nox, who has reverted to using her pre-WWE Nixon Newell name on Twitter, wrote:
Some things are just out of your control and you can only do as much as you can.
Let’s clear one thing up though. I’m ready. I’ve been ready. Just have to show people what they’ve missed.
Tegan Nox ended up having two separate stints with WWE, with the first one beginning in early 2017, and ending when she was released in November 2021.
A year later, she was rehired by the company and returned to TV in December 2022, remaining under contract for a second stint until now.
Her last televised match came on WWE Raw at the start of April 2024 when she teamed with Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark in a loss to Damage CTRL.
