Tegan Nox Says She Can’t Wrestle Due To Visa Issues

With Triple H taking over WWE creative following the retirement of Vince McMahon, fans have speculated about many released WWE stars potentially making their return to the company.

One of the more speculated names to make a return is Tegan Nox (Nixon Newell), who was released back in November of 2021.

The speculation of Nox’s return comes primarily from the fact that WWE is heading to her home country for Clash at the Castle next month. However, there may be a reason she hasn’t popped up in the States yet.

Speaking to Sappening podcast, Nixon explained that she hasn’t popped up anywhere following her release due to not having a Visa.

She said:

“Basically, because I haven’t gotten the visa or green card, I can’t wrestle. I keep getting messages, ‘Have you retired?’ No, I just can’t. Legally, I can’t. I’ve just been chilling, in the house, playing video games. I went to Sad Summer Fest a couple of weeks ago, which was phenomenal. Just chilling with my dogs and friends. Usual stuff that I can do without working,”

If you really want to put on your tinfoil hat, Nixon would not need a work Visa to work in the United Kingdom, so she could make her WWE return on that show.

Many had hoped to see Nox reunite with former partner Shotzi as part of the Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament, but Shotzi instead teamed with Xia Li.
