A new week and a new batch of NXT matches have taken place before this week’s (July 5) episode of Raw, per PWInsider.
The most notable is NXT star Tegan Nox, who has been out of action since August 2020, facing Toni Storm in a dark match before the show.
PWInsider also notes that the charging battery vignettes that have been airing on NXT recently are believed to be for the return of Nox.
Also in action was NXT Champion Karrion Kross, who took on Drew Gulak in a match filmed for this week’s episode of WWE Main Event.
Kross previously featured on Main Event, defeating Shelton Benjamin.
