Report: Tessa Blanchard Considered ‘Nuclear’, No Interest From WWE Or AEW

A new report has emerged following speculation about Tessa Blanchard potentially joining either WWE or AEW.

Blanchard has been considered one of the best women’s wrestlers in the world, but according to BodySlam, don’t expect to see her in either of the top companies any time soon.

As per BodySlam’s report, a source said Blanchard is considered “nuclear”, and “nobody wants near her”.

BodySlam correctly first reported the plans for Bryan Danielson’s AEW debut.

Tessa Blanchard has had well-documented issues in the past, which have seemingly led to this being the thought process towards her from companies.

There were duelling “we want Tessa” and “no we don’t” chants during the Casino Battle Royale at All Out, with the “no we don’t” being the clear winner of that exchange.

The report adds that the “only major American company that has been in talks with her since leaving IMPACT was the NWA”.

Her IMPACT departure wasn’t without controversy as she reportedly refused to film content to send to the promotion while she was unable to travel, despite being the IMPACT World Champion at the time.

She also recently posted an image of dollar bills with Ted DiBiase’s face on it, which fuelled NXT speculation, but again, that’s not something that will be happening by the sounds of it.
