Tessa Blanchard SIGNS Long-Term IMPACT Wrestling Contract

Tessa Blanchard SIGNS Long-Term IMPACT Wrestling Contract

It has been announced by IMPACT Wrestling that the ridiculously talented Tessa Blanchard has signed a long-term contract with the company. She had previously been working on a short-term agreement.

Making her initial debut at the promotion’s Redemption pay-per-view on April 22, the female grappler has been a highlight of the Knockouts division. Her matches against Kiera Hogan are a particular highlight. The coup will see her work all future IMPACT tapings while leaving her free to also compete for World Wonder Ring Stardom.

WWE fans will be familiar with the star from last year’s Mae Young Classic, where in one match, she quickly established herself as one of the stand-out stars of the tournament. WWE should be kicking themselves for not snapping up the daughter of the most proficient tag team talents in history.

For IMPACT followers, news is filtering through that Blanchard won’t be making an appearance at the upcoming Slammiversary XII event on July 22 as it stands; her popularity and talent are of a level, however, that the bigwigs will likely write her in somehow.

Tell us your thoughts about Tess Blanchard signing with IMPACT Wrestling, if WWE should have snapped her up, and whether you think she’ll flourish under her current employers. You can talk to all your favorite writers on Twitter and Discord.
