Tessa Blanchard has confirmed that she has been in talks with wrestling promotions and revealed what’s stopped her taking the opportunities.
The former Impact World Champion has been competing in CMLL recently, having been in Mexico for a number of years.
Alongside Lluvia, Blanchard is the current CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champion having defeated Persephone & Zeuxis on the August 6, 2024 show.
In April 2024, it was reported that TNA Wrestling had internal preliminary discussions about a possible return for Blanchard.
During a recent appearance on Straight Talk Wrestling, Blanchard revealed that she had been in discussions with “other companies”, saying:
“I’ve talked to some other companies recently, but it hasn’t felt right yet to go back. One thing I promised myself is that it doesn’t matter about the money or anything else—if it doesn’t feel right, I’m not going to do it.”
Her run in Impact Wrestling saw Blanchard hold the Impact World Championship and the Impact Knockouts Championship.
