A popular tag team has confirmed their status for the AEW Fight Forever video game.
As previously reported, the full slate of AEW stars to be featured upon the release of AEW Fight Forever has been revealed. With the game premiering on June 29, fans have expressed their displeasure with popular stars not being featured on the original release.
One of the bigger stars not listed on the current list of talent are former AEW World Tag Team Champions Max Caster and Anthony Bowens, known as The Acclaimed.
On June 27, a fan on Twitter tagged Caster and Bowens to express their disappointment to not see The Acclaimed in the game. They said:
Just found out @PlatinumMax and @Bowens_Official aren’t in #AEWFightForever on day one?? Canceling my preorder
Replying back to the fan, Caster let them know that they should still buy the game and confirmed that the duo has taken pictures for the game. He tweeted:
This confirms that the popular tag team will in fact be a later addition to the video game following the release of AEW Fight Forever.
Caster and Bowens appeared alongside “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn on the June 23 episode of AEW Rampage, where they were attacked by QTV’s QT Marshall, Aaron Solo and the debuting Johnny TV (John Hennigan).
