The Elite have not appeared on AEW television since the AEW All Out pay-per-view.
On the show, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks defeated Adam Page and the Dark Order to become the inaugural AEW Trios World Champions.
Their reign was short lived however, as they were stripped of the titles on the following episode of AEW Dynamite, and suspended by the company.
The suspension came due to the now infamous All Out post-show media scrum, where the Elite were involved in a backstage altercation with CM Punk and Ace Steel that led to all parties involved being suspended from the company.
Three weeks ago, AEW begun airing mysterious vignettes on Dynamite, teasing the return of the Elite.
Last week’s show seemed to imply that Omega and the Bucks would be making their return at AEW Full Gear.
Well, that is now officially the case.
On tonight’s (November 16) episode of Dynamite, the Death Triangle retained the Trios Championship against AR Fox and Top Flight.
After the match, Pac cut a promo on ‘certain individuals’ hoping to make their return to the company.
A final video then aired on the screen, that officially named the Elite, and announced they will be facing Death Triangle at Full Gear for the AEW Trios World Championship.
The investigation into the All Out situation is now officially over.
