The length of the TNA Wrestling contracts of Matt and Jeff Hardy following their NXT Tag Team Championship victory have been revealed.
At this week’s WWE NXT & TNA Showdown event, a title for title match took place on the show, with the NXT Tag Team Champions DarkState defending their titles against the TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz.
The Hardys would end up winning the NXT Tag Team Championship in the match, their first WWE title victory in six years, while not being contracted WWE talents, and still under contract to TNA.
This had led to speculation about when the contracts of Matt and Jeff Hardy were set to expire, and there has now been an update on how long they are contracted to TNA.
Per Fightful Select, TNA sources have noted that, unless Matt and Jeff quietly re-signed a contract extension, the contracts of the Hardy Boyz in TNA are set to expire next month.
The Hardys are set to defend both the TNA World Tag Team and NXT Tag Team Championship against Team 3D in a Tables match at Bound For Glory tomorrow night.
