Matt and Jeff Hardy recently signed new contracts with TNA Wrestling having both returned to the company in 2024.

The Hardys are the current TNA World Tag Team Championships but, according to Fightful Select, only signed their new contract this week.

With the pair previously only working on a “handshake deal” with TNA Wrestling in 2024, Matt Hardy recently commented on their decision to sign a new deal.

Fightful Select has now revealed that the deal for the pair is one year long and was signed on November 27, 2024.

With Matt Hardy making his TNA Wrestling return at April 20, 2024’s Rebellion, he was originally only set to do a “defined number of dates” according to Fightful Select.

His plans changed when Jeff Hardy joined TNA Wrestling in June 2024 following his departure from AEW in that month.

Becoming TNA World Tag Team Champions at Bound for Glory on October 26, 2024, The Hardys were not under contract.

They did, however, agree to continue working with TNA Wrestling, along with being available to work independent wrestling dates.

Fightful Select notes that, with the regime change in TNA Wrestling, the company has “insisted on many talent being under contract”.

The Hardy Boys are three-time TNA Wrestling World Tag Team Champions with both men also having previously held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
