The ‘Hollywood A-lister,’ the Miz and his wife Maryse, were recently interviewed by Sports Illustrated. The ‘It Couple’ talked about many things, namely their journeys, Monroe Sky, Daniel Bryan, and their new reality show Miz & Mrs.
The Miz, real name Mike Mizanin, opened up about his beginnings in WWE:
“When I first got to WWE, people thought I was going to be fired within three months. No one liked me, no one wanted me there, whether it was the fans or the people backstage. I had to fight and fight and fight to earn my spot. Through hard work and dedication, I proved everyone wrong.”
Discussing their new reality TV show Miz & Mrs, the married pair talked about being portrayed as babyfaces instead of being in-ring heels.
Maryse commented:
“I’ve been playing a villain for the past 12 years, but it’s really nice to work on a project and have everyone love it. That makes us want to do more.”
