Last night on AEW: Dynamite, Cody Rhodes was set to make a major career announcement ahead of his AEW World Championship match at Full Gear with Chris Jericho.
While in the ring, the AEW Executive Vice President cut an awesome promo. Honestly, this promo was truly brilliant and you should definitely check it out.

Many wrestling fans, critics and personalities have all taken to social media to praise the former WWE star for his work on the mic last night.
One of the first to publically praise Cody was Jim Cornette, who even compared Cody’s promo to one of his father’s.

The Rock is widely regarded as one of the best promos in wrestling history, so for Cody to receive praise from him for his work will certainly mean a lot.
