The Rock Provides Update On Film Production Set To Begin WWE

Former multi-time WWE Champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has provided an update on his latest film production set to begin.

Disney recently revealed that The Rock’s hit aminated film “Moana” is set for their sequel to be released on November 27, 2024.

Ahead of this announcement, Johnson revealed that the live-action adaptation of “Moana”will be made and set to begin production in 2024. Both films will follow the massive success that was the “Moana” film in 2016.

In an Instagram post, The Rock announced the cast for the live-action adaptation. Catherine Laga’aia will play the role of Moana, John Tui as Chief Tui, Frankie Adams as Sina, and Rena Owen as Grandma Tala, while Johnson will reprise his role as Maui. He wrote:
