Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has recently praised WWE’s Kevin Owens and AEW’s Adam Cole for being ‘two of the best’
On Twitter, a fan recalled a conversation she had with their dad while he was in the ICU, revealing that he ‘loves to hate’ Kevin Owens and Adam Cole. The fan revealed that their father had just came off the ventilator.
Owens teased the father while wishing him well, tweeting:
“Tell your dad that I hope he gets back on his feet quickly and that deep down, he knows he loves me and I truly appreciate him being my biggest fan and humming my theme song.”
The Rock replied later, sending his own message of support. Stating that the fan’s dad knew their stuff for ‘hating’ on Owens and Cole, The Rock tweeted:
“We’ve all beat Cena so let’s celebrate lol Wishing your dad strength during this time and Kevin O & Adam Cole are two of the best so your pops knows his stuff!”
Adam Cole notably debuted for AEW at All Out on September 5. He wrestles his first match for the promotion next week on Dynamite.
Kevin Owens has recently hinted at his arrival at AEW. Following news that his contract expires early next year, it was reported that WWE doesn’t expect him to re-sign when his current deal ends.
