Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has revealed he hasn’t ruled out a potential presidential run just yet, noting that he cares about every American.
In an interview with Vanity, The Rock admitted that he doesn’t know much about politics, but believes he could be a good leader. After saying that he finds the idea of a presidential bid humbling, The Rock explained:
“You know, at the end of the day, I don’t know the first thing about politics. I don’t know the first thing about policy. I care deeply about our country. I care about every f**king American who bleeds red, and that’s all of them. And—there’s no delusion here—I may have some decent leadership qualities, but that doesn’t necessarily make me a great presidential candidate. That’s where I am today.”
Earlier this year, a poll indicated that 46% of Americans would support The Great One if he ran for President. The former WWE Champion also stated that he has done “a small amount of research and analysis” on a possible bid.
The Rock raps on the new Face Off track by Tech N9ne, which also features Joey Cool and King Iso. You can listen to The People’s Champion’s new feature here.
