Finally… The Rock has come back to WWE. Well, sort of. It has been announced that the Great One will be appearing on tonight’s edition of Talking Smack for an interview.
Fox Sports made the announcement on Twitter today as SmackDown and Talking Smack are both set to air on FS1 tonight in the United States. Here is the tweet:
Tonight, FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN shifts to FS1, followed by a special edition of TALKING SMACK featuring conversations between @JayGlazer and @TheRock and @TheWilderThings and @SashaBanksWWE.

The Rock has not appeared in WWE for over a year. His last appearance was on the SmackDown debut on Fox where he and Becky Lynch cut a promo on Baron Corbin.
Rumours have also been circling about a potential match between The Rock and Roman Reigns. Speculation began when Reigns said he wanted to face his cousin at WrestleMania in Hollywood back in February. As WrestleMania will not be in Los Angeles until 2022, that is when The Rock said we might see that match.
Talking Smack is set to be hosted by Kayla Braxton, Booker T and Paul Heyman. In addition to The Rock’s interview, the show will see an interview from Sasha Banks as well. Banks returned on this week’s episode of The Mandalorian on Disney+.
