The Rock Says Life Changing Role Is ‘Off The Table’ NBC

The Rock has stated that a long talked about major role is now “off the table”.

WWE legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has become one of Hollywood’s megastars and has been responsible for several television projects as well.

However, there is an even bigger role that has been spoken about by The Great One in the past that seems to not be an option anymore.

Speaking on CBS Sunday Morning, The Rock admitted that a potential presidential run is no longer being considered.

He stated:

“It’s off the table, yes. It is off the table. I will say this, because it requires the B-side to this. I love our country and everyone in it. I also love being a daddy. That’s the most important thing, being a daddy. Number one. Especially during this time, this critical time in my daughter’s lives because I know what it was like to be on the road and be so busy that I was absent for a lot of years. My first daughter’s growing up in this critical age at this critical time in her life and that’s what the presidency would do. My number one priority is my daughter’s. CEO sounds great, but the number one thing I want to be is daddy. That’s it.”

The People’s Champion has admitted to doing research to run for U.S. President in 2024 and 2028 in the past.

Also, there was a 2021 poll that showed 46% of Americans would support The Rock if he chose to run for President.

The Rock’s Simone Johnson is now known as Ava Raine in WWE NXT. She has yet to make her official TV debut, but has been active on the house show circuit for the brand.

Raine’s father has even commented on the name change for his daughter, which you can read here.
