The decision to crown someone WWE Champion lies on one man. However, it seems Dolph Ziggler has the endorsement of one of the most popular wrestlers of all time in The Rock.
WWE recently posted a picture of Ziggler with the WWE Championship on Instagram. The caption simply reads “A glimpse into the future?” and the ‘Great One’ responded by saying “I’d co-sign this decision.
Talented dude and always has a spark in his presentations”.

The current WWE Champion Drew McIntyre did not take kindly to The Rock’s comment. McIntyre responded with one of The Rock’s signature catchphrases, letting him know “It doesn’t matter what you think”.
Ziggler is scheduled to challenge McIntyre for the WWE Championship at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules. While Ziggler has had two short reigns as World Heavyweight Champion, he has never been WWE Champion in his time in WWE.
The only interaction The Rock has had with Ziggler is a throwaway line in a promo from 2009. During SmackDown’s tenth anniversary celebration, the Brahma Bull cut a pre-recorded promo in which he had to stop himself to ask “who in the blue hell is Dolph Ziggler?”. Clearly he has more of an idea who Dolph is now.
