The Rock has only ever wrestled for WWF and WWE, but that doesn’t mean he, like all other wrestling fans, can’t fantasy book matches in other promotions.
Earlier this week, Matt Hardy tweeted his praise for Shane Helms/The Hurricane, and then a fan pointed out that the Hurricane has in fact got an unbeaten record against the Rock, having won their only ever match.
Matt would reply to this tweet, confirming the stat, and once again praised both The Hurricane and The Rock.
The thread didn’t end there, either, as the Rock would then heap even more praise onto The Hurricane, and even went as far as challenging Matt and Jeff Hardy to a tag match, with The Hurricane as his partner. Clearly he didn’t want to risk going 0-2.
You can see the Twitter thread below.
YO, @TQR317, no lies detected! Rock’s record is 0-1 versus The Hurricane & I absolutely loved their interactions. Dwayne Johnson has been cool as hell since Day 1 & Shane Helms is one of my best friends in the world. I love The Hurricane – It was/is brilliant!
