The Rock has shown off an injury he suffered during the production of an upcoming movie, amid rumors about his WWE return.
The Hollywood star has now returned to Hollywood, and is currently filming for a pretty physical movie role.
The Rock will star as UFC legend Mark Kerr in the upcoming biopic The Smashing Machine, meaning that the WWE legend will be filming MMA action scenes.
The Final Boss has now taken to Instagram to share a video showing off an injury he suffered during filming, revealing a swelling on his elbow.
He noted that he can feel a lot of fluid in the swelling, which will be drained before he has an MRI scan to assess the damage. The Rock suspected that there may be soft tissue damage under the swelling.
You can watch The Rock’s video below.
The Rock made his return to the ring earlier this year, teaming with Roman Reigns to defeat Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 Saturday, one day before Rhodes defeated Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.
The Final Boss teased a match against Cody Rhodes during his most recent WWE TV appearance, on the April 8 Raw episode.
