Mr Iguana has opened up about his relationship with WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker, who has been backstage at AAA shows.
The AAA star has been a surprise hit among WWE fans since his first appearance at Worlds Collide, going on to make his main roster debut in August.
With Triple H recently naming The Undertaker as a ‘driving force’ backstage at AAA, Mr Iguana has opened up on his relationship with The Phenom.
Speaking to Adrian Hernandez on Unlikely, Mr Iguana revealed that The Undertaker offers advice and is seemingly ‘never stressed’, saying:
“I met him back at the PC in NXT. He’s great. A lot of advice. Looking at him in AAA, it’s surreal for me because you walk around and see this big guy in Gorilla. Usually, you see Konnan and AAA wrestlers. Now, you see Undertaker, the guy you’ve seen all your life as a kid. It’s surreal.
“I just see him there, maybe I see him more. When I talk to him, it’s just advice. If I’m chill, he’s 100% more. All the time. Never stressed. You never get the feeling that something is bad or something is missing. He’s all chill.
“My only experience is that he’s seeing the monitors. He’s checking everything. I don’t see the facial expressions, just seeing the monitors.”
Following the first WWE Worlds Collide, it was revealed that a company record had been broken for live concurrent viewers on YouTube.
WWE and AAA will crossover, once again, for Worlds Collide on September 12, with only one match announced so far and the WrestleTalk event page right here.
At the time of writing, El Hijo Del Vikingo will defend his AAA Mega Championship against Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio.
As for Mr Iguana, he will be in action defending the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship alongside La Hiedra on September 7 at AAA Alianzas against the team of Lince Dorado and NXT’s Lola Vice.
