The WWE LFG eliminations continued tonight, with The Undertaker and the other coaches making their decisions.
With the women’s semi-finalists chosen last week, this week was the men’s turn.
The Undertaker had to make a decision between Drake Morreaux and Shiloh Hill, with Hill especially having a rough night in their match.
Despite that, Taker decided to eliminate Morreaux and keep Hill in the competition – chalking it up to just one bad night for Hill, and believing Hill still presents the best chance of winning the competition overall.
Elsewhere, Booker T made the decision to eliminate Chris Island, meaning Harlem Lewis advanced to the semi-finals.
Harlem Lewis got the nod from Booker to advance to the next round, with Island being eliminated.
Earlier today, Pro Wrestling NOAH announced that Lewis would be joining Charlie Dempsey in traveling to Japan to work for the promotion.
The next coach with a choice to make was Michelle McCool, who had to pick between Anthony Luke and Trill London.
McCool chose to go with Luke, meaning London was eliminated.
Last up was Bubba Ray Dudley, who had Elijah Holyfield ruled out of the competition due to injury.
This meant BJ Ray would advance automatically, or so it seemed, as Dudley called in Zena Sterling and one of his team members from last season, Drake Morreaux, to put BJ through a table.
Therefore – as confirmed in the preview for next week – BJ was actually eliminated and Morreaux will be proceeding as a member of Bubba Ray Dudley’s team, despite being eliminated from Undertaker’s earlier.
That means, including the women’s results from last week’s eliminations, the fields for the WWE LFG play-off rounds are as follows:
Team Undertaker – Dani Sekelsky & Shiloh Hill
Team Booker T – Sirena Linton & Harlem Lewis
Team Michelle McCool – Penina Tuilaepa & Anthony Luke
Team Bubba Ray Dudley – Zena Sterling & Drake Morreaux
