WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker has reacted to John Cena and AJ Styles’ final match at WWE Crown Jewel earlier today.
Today’s WWE Crown Jewel event featured the final ever encounter between John Cena and AJ Styles ahead of Cena’s upcoming retirement match on December 13.
During the match, both Cena and Styles paid tribute to a number of their former rivals, including Chris Jericho, The Miz, Randy Orton and Sting.
The finish came when Cena hit a Tombstone Piledriver on AJ, before finishing him off with an Attitude Adjustment to score the win.
Taking to Twitter following the match, the Undertaker reacted to the encounter, praising both men for delivering a ‘masterclass’.
He said:
Thank you @JohnCena and thank you @AJStylesOrg. A masterclass and beautiful tribute to wrestling.
The #WWEUniverse said it…but that was AWESOME!
Cena only has four more dates left on his retirement tour, with Raw in Boston, Raw in Madison Square Garden, Survivor Series in San Diego and Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington DC set to be his final appearances before his retirement.
