Some wrestlers have said it can be difficult to watch wrestling after you retire. Whether you are coming up with ideas or thinking about what you would do in that scenario, it can be hard to disconnect. The same holds true for the Undertaker.
During his recent interview with USA Today, he was asked if he can just sit down and watch WWE. He said while he can it is hard because he finds himself talking to the television. Here is the quote:
“I can to a certain degree. But a lot of times I catch myself talking to the TV like they can hear me. It’s hard to be just a straight fan, because I want everybody to succeed and to develop into their potential. So I’m kind of like, ‘Oh man, don’t do it. It didn’t make sense. Don’t do that. Why would you do that?’
“You would actually laugh if there was a camera watching me watch wrestling. I have these conversations and it’s pretty amusing, I’m sure.”
The Undertaker also recently appeared on Hot Ones where he discussed a number of topics in wrestling. You can watch the whole interview here.
The Undertaker will also be making his Final Farewell this Sunday at Survivor Series, 3o years after his debut.
