Before anyone starts, NO, The Undertaker is NOT going to be appearing at AEW Double Or Nothing. Let’s get that out of the way first.
However, he is making a very interesting career move by appearing at Conrad Thompson’s Starrcast II event the day before. Starrcast is a direct tie-in with Double Or Nothing, and while independent from AEW, Thompson has worked closely with the new promotion in hosting the two recent rally events in Jacksonville and Las Vegas.
Undertaker got tongues wagging earlier today when he posted on Instagram about a meeting he was having with “somebody important”, which followed the recent removal of all WWE references from his social media accounts and the public acknowledgement that he was accepting independent (non-wrestling) bookings.

Quite what all of this means for The Undertaker’s future in WWE is uncertain. However, it is telling that he has began taking dates outside of the company, suggesting his days as an active in-ring performer may well be over.
Also of note is that Ric Flair is appearing at Starrcast. Although that is not a surprise, what with Conrad being his son in law, it is notable that Flair did not inform WWE of this until after it was confirmed that Charlotte was in the WrestleMania main event. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Flair was genuinely concerned that WWE would change their plans when they found out.
