The Undertaker Reveals His Two Current WWE Dream Opponents WWE

Over three years since his final WWE match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36, The Undertaker has revealed the two current stars he wishes he could get in the ring with.

Speaking to The Independent, the Deadman revealed that former two-thirds of The Shield, Roman Reigns and Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins were at the top of his dream list.

Despite already facing off with Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 33, Taker revealed that due to neither himself nor Reigns being at their peak, he would have loved to have another chance at facing off with the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Taker said:

“I would love to be healthy enough to have a match now with Roman Reigns

When we worked at (WrestleMania 33), I was on my last legs. And he wasn’t he wasn’t nearly the performer that he is now.”

Reigns’ Tribal Chief persona has made him a much better developed character to the version that Taker faced off with six years ago, however, the same could also be said for Seth Rollins, a man Taker faced once, during a six-man tag match in 2013, when Rollins was a part of The Shield.

However, Taker opened up on his desire to face Rollins’ current more flamboyant persona, saying the contrast between that character and his Deadman gimmick would work well.

Taker elaborated:

“And then another guy that I would love to have worked with would be Seth Rollins.

“He’s just an incredible in-ring talent.

“And now he’s got this really flamboyant character, which would have been a really interesting contrast between the doom and gloom of The Undertaker and his over-the-top character.”

Since retiring in 2020, Taker has made sporadic appearances at WWE shows, most recently appearing for a segment involving Bray Wyatt and LA Knight at the Raw 30th anniversary show on January 23.

Despite seeming content with his retirement and not teasing an in-ring return, Taker did reveal that the urge to step back between the ropes is still there when he is back at WWE shows, click here to read his full comments on the potential of one more match in the future.
