The WWE 24/7 Title Feels The Power Of Love… Sort Of

As has become a very welcome tradition, WWE 24/7 Title madness occurred tonight on Raw, so here’s a roundup of everything that happened.

The show kicked off with a comedy vignette about how the 24/7 Title is the most prestigious championship in WWE today, and I think it may well have been the greatest thing I’ve ever seen.

The first match on the show was a ‘Mosh Pit’ mixed tag in which Drake Maverick and wife Renee Michelle challenged R-Truth and Carmella for the gold.

The ‘Mosh Pit’ stip was basically a lumberjack match. The 24/7 rule was on hold for the duration of the match, but as soon as Truth won after a couple of minutes, everyone swarmed the ring and pinned him.

It was Mike Kanellis who emerged as the new champion, so he ran backstage and locked himself in a room. Everyone let Maria see her husband, but he refused to let her in out of fear it may have been someone pretending to be her.

So then she said if he didn’t let her in, she’d kick him in the vagina. So he did.

And then later on things got even more interesting as Maria ordered Mike to lie down on his back, so she could pin him and win the title to become the first ever pregnant 24/7 Champion.

Maria was doing her champion photoshoot towards the end of the show, and seemed very happy indeed about being champion, knowing no-one would beat her considering she’s pregnant.

Braun then turned up and just grunted for some reason. He should have given her a Running Powerslam through a table but oh well.
