The wrestling world has been buzzing since Andrade was released by WWE last night. Many people have commented on his release, wishing him well, but now Thea Trinidad (FKA Zelina Vega) has posted a touching message.
Trinidad responded to Andrade’s tweet from earlier today, commenting that she was grateful to have met and shared memories with someone she considers a brother. Here is the tweet:

Thea Trinidad and Andrade became an act together while they were in NXT in 2017. She turned his career around, leading to Andrade’s reign as NXT Champion. They later joined the main roster where they were an item until they went their separate ways last Fall.
Trinidad was released by WWE due to their new social media restrictions. From this point onward, Andrade was not featured on television. Reports surfaced that Andrade was miserable backstage not being allowed to work, ultimately leading to him asking for his release, which was granted last night.
Trinidad has not appeared for another wrestling promotion since her release. However, people have speculated that she and Andrade could reunite wherever he chooses to sign. For the time being, that is simply that, speculation.
