Austin Theory Comments On Failed Money In The Bank Cash-In WWE

WWE star Austin Theory has commented on his failed Money In The Bank cash-in.

At WWE Survivor Series 2022, Austin Theory defeated Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley in a triple threat match to win the United States Championship.

This seemingly redeemed Theory for his failed Money In The Bank cash-in on Seth Rollins for the U.S. Title on the November 7 edition of WWE Raw.

Speaking with BT Sport, the former Mr. Money In The Bank discussed the rock bottom feeling of his failed cash-in. Theory said:

“Growing up watching the Money in the Bank matches were exciting and the cash-ins were exciting but I have to say, I never thought I’d have the failed cash-in, but I guess I would be one of those guys.”

“But I would say for me, that whole process of that day of losing the Money in the Bank contract and kind of, where do I go now? I literally hit rock bottom, so what now?”

The new United States Champion continued on to highlight the changes he has experienced since then, saying:

“And kind of just to have this revamp of a personality and bring out this different type of energy that people aren’t used to from Austin Theory, it kind of just shifts everything and for me, it’s great and looking at it long term, it can only evolve and get better from here.”

As previously reported, WWE CCO Triple H mentioned how fans believed that Austin Theory “was dead two weeks ago.”
