Third Member Of Team Shotzi Announced For NXT TakeOver WarGames

While Candice LeRae has found her three teammates for WarGames, Shotzi Blackheart is still assembling her team. It had been announced that Ember Moon would be the first person to join her team but now she has found another ally.

It was announced on Twitter today that Rhea Ripley would be joining Blackheart’s team. This will mark the second time Ripley has competed in WarGames.

This comes after the events of last week’s episode of NXT. Ripley had been making an address regarding her future when she was interrupted by Candice LeRae. LeRae antagonized Ripley before her team revealed they had laid out Io Shirai backstage. Ripley was then jumped as LeRae’s team of Toni Storm, Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez stood tall.

These actions may come back to haunt LeRae as Ripley will now stand opposite her in the double-cage.

There is still no word on who the final member of Team Shotzi will be but the safe guess would be NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai. Both Moon and Ripley had been targeted by LeRae’s team and Shirai would also qualify.

NXT TakeOver WarGames is set for December 6.
