A new update has emerged on WWE Clash At The Castle ticket sales, days out from the premium live event.
The show will be the first WWE stadium event hosted in the UK since SummerSlam 1992. Demand for tickets was unprecedented, with over 59,000 fans pre-registered for tickets within the first 24 hours of the show’s announcement.
Per WrestleTix, as of 4:32 pm ET on August 30, 62,594 tickets had been distributed for the event. The current setup of the Principality Stadium would allow for 67,580 fans, meaning that almost 5000 tickets are still available for the September 3 event.
Roman Reigns is slated to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre at the Cardiff event. There have recently been some backstage discussions about Reigns dropping the title, which you can read more about right here.
Clash At The Castle will be the culmination of WWE’s first full premium live event cycle since Vince McMahon’s retirement. While Triple H was in charge of creative for SummerSlam, the entire build to Clash At The Castle has taken place during the Triple H regime.
