Tonight on AEW: Dynamite, The Inner Circle and MJF held a town hall segment. The segment has its fair share of funny moments, but the end result was very serious.
The final question of the town hall from Eric Bischoff led to Chris Jericho challenging MJF to a match at Full Gear. Jericho has stated if MJF can beat him, then MJF will get a spot in The Inner Circle.
After the exchange, they announced next week Ortiz and Sammy Guevara will face MJF and Wardlow. That wasn’t the only match announced.
Later in the night, in the second women’s promo of the night, Hikaru Shida challenged Nyla Rose to a match at Full Gear. Rose had refused to wrestle until she got a title shot. So, Shida gave her one.

There’s be really little build to this one. Shida’s run has had a couple of decent matches, but AEW seems determined to not give her a real story at all.
Speaking of matches with little build, the final match for Full gear was announced during the full card line-up. It came as a result of the finish to the TNT Championship match tonight.
During the Cody/Cassidy match on Dynamite, John Silver got involved and kicked Cassidy in the face. This came after last week when Orange decked Silver with the title.
As a result, the two will be facing off on the Buy-in. I’m not sure what to expect from this match, but these are probably the two most comedic guys in AEW. Hilarity could ensue.
