Three More Wrestlers Qualify For WWE SmackDown Survivor Series Teams

WWE will be hosting Survivor Series later this month. Tonight on SmackDown, WWE held 3 qualifying matches for both their women and men’s SmackDown teams for the Survivor Series 5-on-5 elimination matches.

The first match was Baron Corbin vs. Rey Mysterio. This match had a lot of shenanigans both during and prior to it. Corbin attacked Rey before the match.

During the match, Seth Rollins appeared. He attacked Dominik who was ringside. This caused a distraction for Rey, who was even more distracted when Aalyah and Murphy ran down to the ring. Eventually, Corbin took advantage and got the win. Corbin joins Kevin Owens and Jey Uso on Team SmackDown.

The next qualifying match was a Triple Threat between Ruby Riott, Natalya, and Zelina Vega. Ruby won with an Arm Bar submission after locking it in simultaneously with Nattie locking in a Sharp Shooter. For no real reason at all, Nattie let go. Vega then tapped immediately.

Riott joins Bianca Belair for the women’s team. SmackDown still has 3 women’s spots open.

The final qualifying match of the night was Otis vs. Seth Rollins and the shenanigans continued from earlier. During the match, Murphy appeared ringside. However, instead of interfering against Rollins, he distracted Otis.

The distraction allowed Rollins to hit the Curb Stomp. Rollins qualifies and joins Corbin, Owens, and Uso on Team SmackDown.
