Just one day ahead of their Super Showdown event, WWE has announced three new matches. This brings the total number of matches for the show up to ten.
The first new match is Mansoor vs. Dolph Ziggler. Mansoor has been a featured star on a number of WWE’s Saudi Arabia shows and now he will face Ziggler. At Crown Jewel last year he faced Cesaro so it seems clear that WWE wants to portray him in good matches.
The second is The Viking Raiders vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Gallows and Anderson have lost a lot as of late. They lost to Drew McIntyre in a handicap match after the Royal Rumble and have both lost to Ricochet is consecutive singles matches. Now, this is their chance to get back on track.
Finally, Humberto Carrillo is set to take on his cousin Angel Garza in a rematch from Raw. Garza was able to defeat Carrillo on Raw and now Carrillo has his chance to get his win back. Their storyline has been going on since the beginning of February and with Andrade coming back, this should be getting interesting.
Here is the updated full card for the show:
- WWE Universal Championship Match – “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Goldberg
