
On Saturday, Mia Yim announced that she had unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19, with reports suggesting she was originally slated to appear in the women’s Royal Rumble match the following day.
However, it has emerged that Mia Yim (aka RECKONING), wasn’t the only member of the WWE roster to have to be pulled from the pay-per-view after producing a positive test for COVID-19.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has revealed that at least three WWE Superstars were pulled from the Royal Rumble show after producing positive COVID-19 tests:
She was the only person scheduled who came out and said it but there were at least three people scheduled originally who had to be pulled due to testing positive.
At this stage, there is no word on the identity of the people who were originally scheduled for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view but had to be pulled after testing positive for COVID-19. For any additional information, stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.
