Thunder Rosa Addresses Sasha Banks And Naomi WWE Walkout AEW/WWE

AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa has addressed Sasha Banks and Naomi’s WWE walkout.

Ahead of the May 16 edition of WWE Raw, Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of the company following creative differences with Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis.

The duo were subsequently stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships and suspended from the promotion indefinitely.

Speaking with 1140 AM, Rosa addressed the tone set by Sasha Banks and Naomi’s WWE walkout.

She said:

“She made that statement and it paid off for her, but for some people it wouldn’t pay off because they don’t have that status. When you have that option, and you can make that statement, go for it, because that’s going to really set the tone for a lot of other people.”

Following the duo’s walkout, SmackDown commentator Michael Cole said that Sasha and Naomi had “let us all down” by their actions.

There have been rumors swirling that the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions may be on their back to the company, but they are yet to make their returns.

Sasha Banks and Naomi recently made an appearance at the She-Hulk premiere in Los Angeles over this past weekend.

Meanwhile, Thunder Rosa will face Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All Out on September 4.
