Thunder Rosa Bout Added To AAA TripleMania XXX In October

A bout featuring AEW star Thunder Rosa has been added to AAA TripleMania XXX in October.

AAA held a press conference on Monday to promote several matches for its next TripleMania event on October 15.

On the TripleMania XXX – Tijuana event in June, AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Taya Valkyrie challenged AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa to a match.

During today’s press conference, Rosa accepted the challenge and the bout was made official for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship on the October 15 event in Mexico City.

The card will also feature a Mask vs. Mask match between Pentagon Jr. and Villano IV. The two men are the finalists in the Ruleta de la Muerte tournament, which began with eight masked wrestlers with the losers moving on to this final round.

TripleMania XXX will also see AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo defending his title against a yet-to-be-named opponent. AAA asked fans to weigh in on who it should be.

Thunder Rosa previously mentioned wanting to become a traveling champion and has already took a trip to Japan to face Miyu Yamashita in TJPW at their Summer Sun Princess event last month.
