Several AEW and ROH stars made surprise appearances during the October 9 GCW Fight Club event, headlined by Jon Moxley vs Nick Gage.
To start the night, AEW’s Lio Rush was added to the show’s opener, Alex Zayne vs Ninja Mack. Zayne ended up winning the impromptu three-way bout. Rush officially signed with AEW on September 29. He previously hadn’t wrestled for GCW since GCW Draft Day in May.

Thunder Rosa also wrestled her first official match for GCW last night, joining Jimmy Lloyd , Gringo Loco, ASF, Brayden Lee, Dante Leon, and Calvin Tankman for seven-way action. At the end of the match, Lloyd’s arm was raised.
Mick Foley, who presented the GCW World Championship before Jon Moxley vs Nick Gage, shared a backstage selfie with Thunder Rosa on Twitter, noting:

Mark & Jay Briscoe of The Briscoes also confronted Mance Warner & Matthew Justice of The Second Gear Crew, accepting the GCW Tag Team Champions’ challenge to to ‘any team in any promotion’. A date for this match wasn’t announced.
Marko Stunt & Joey Janela were also in action at GCW Fight Club, losing to the team of Chris Dickinson & Starboy Charlie
In the main event of the show, AEW’s Jon Moxley successfully retained the GCW World Championship, defeating Nick Gage in just under 20 minutes.
