AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa has commented on the possibility of Sasha Banks showing up in AEW.
Following Raj Giri’s initial report, several outlets have indicated that Banks is on her way out of WWE, with WrestleVotes noting that the word backstage at SmackDown was that Banks was released from her WWE contract.
During Friday’s virtual signing with the Asylum Wrestling Store, Thunder Rosa stated that she isn’t afraid of anyone.
When asked about the idea of Banks joining AEW, Rosa said:
“I mean, of course everybody’s gonna come for whoever’s on top, right? I’m the biggest prey any predator comes after and I’m ready man. I told you, I’m not afraid of nobody. If Sasha wants — if ‘The Boss’ wants some from La Mera Mera, she got it, she got it coming. Hell yeah. That’s how I do.”
Rosa last defended her AEW Women’s Championship against Marina Shafir on the June 8 edition of Dynamite. After being accused of no-selling and ‘sandbagging’ Shafir, Rosa shared photos of herself and Shafir literally breaking bread.
