Thunder Rosa Warns Serena Deeb Ahead Of Double Or Nothing: ‘I’m A Different Animal Now’ AEW

Ahead of their match for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Double or Nothing, Thunder Rosa has some strong words for Serena Deeb.

Playing off of the long history of being rivals, the feud rolls into Double or Nothing as the self-appointed ‘Professor of Professional Wrestling’ Serena Deeb challenges Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Speaking to Women’s Wrestling Talk, Thunder Rosa described the difference between her match-ups with Deeb in the past to now, saying:

“For me it is very important that she understands, because I feel like in the last seven months, her transition, her development as professor of professional wrestling has started. I feel that she needs to understand that I’m a different animal right now in May 2022 that I am not the same person she faced two years ago during COVID when she took the NWA championship away from me. That I’m not the same person as October 2020 when she faced me again and that was the last time that we were in the ring together. That I have become a more confident a better wrestler and a better woman and I think that this match is gonna be so intense because like I said on Wednesday, I drove to sixteen hours just to see her wrestle because that, what she was doing eight years ago, was exactly what I envisioned myself doing in the ring. Being a technical wrestler, being one of the best in the world. And now it’s a different story. But during double or nothing this match is going to prove a lot of things to a lot of people, especially, I personally feel like we have an opportunity to show the world, what a real women’s wrestler looks like.”

Thunder Rosa is set to take on Serena Deeb later this month in Las Vegas, Nevada at All Elite Wrestling’s pay-per-view, Double or Nothing where she will defend her AEW Women’s World Championship for the second time.

Thunder Rosa has previously successfully defeated her AEW Women’s World Championship in a match against Nyla Rose at Battle of the Belts II last month.
