On tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, the newly crowned NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton announced her first title defense.

Well, sort of. She announced how the first number one contender would be determined, next week on the show!

During her in-ring celebration of her title victory, Tiffany mentioned that the NXT Women’s Championship had been held by future Hall of Famers like Charlotte Flair, Asuka and Rhea Ripley so she recognized the importance.

She did not however recognize any worthy opponents after she called the entire Women’s locker room to come out to hear who would be the number one contender to the title.

Instead, she announced that next week there would be a battle royal to determine the number one contender to the NXT Women’s Championship.

After the commercial break, a graphic was revealed as the match was made official and featured such stars as Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade and Thea Hail.

North American Championship – Wes Lee (c) def. Joe Gacy, Tyler Bate

Heritage Cup Championship – Noam Dar (c) def. Dragon Lee thanks to interference from Oro Mensah, Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend

Last Man Standing – Ilja Dragunov def. Dijak

NXT Tag Team Championship – Mark Coffey & Wolfgang (c) def. Brutus & Julius Creed

NXT Women’s Championship – Tiffany Stratton def. Lyra Valkyria

NXT Championship – Carmelo Hayes (c) def. Bron Breakker
