WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has addressed WWE WrestleMania 43 taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
WWE held a press conference earlier this month, officially announcing that WrestleMania would be heading overseas for the first time in the event’s history, with WrestleMania 43 set to take place in Riyadh in 2027.
The decision has led to a lot of questions regarding the show, as well as the status of various independent shows that typically run events alongside WrestleMania that may not want to or be able to run in Saudi in 2027.
Bianca Belair was present at the press conference, where she praised WWE for helping women create history in Saudi Arabia, and now WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has given her thoughts.
Speaking to Going Ringside, Tiffany noted that she was excited to return to Riyadh for the show, as well as being ‘part of history’ for the show.
She said:
“I’m excited. The last time we were there I believe, we went on this little safari adventure, and I hope we get to do that again because that was super fun.
“I think Bianca mentioned women are making history over there, and I can’t wait to be a part of that myself.
“So I’m super excited and I can’t wait.”
